Vincent Peter Picarelli is currently a Police Officer in the Roselle Park Police Department, where he is assigned to the patrol division in his hometown. Picarelli previously served as a Security Officer in the Union County Sheriff’s Office where he was assigned to protect visitors and staff in the Union County complex in Elizabeth. Picarelli is a graduate of the Basic Course for Police Officers at the Atlantic County Police Training Center in Egg Harbor Township.
Picarelli graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Centenary University where he studied Emergency Management, Organized Crime & Gangs, Community Policing , White Collar Crimes as well as academic coursework. While at Centenary University, Picarelli was a member of the Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society, Vice President of the Student Government and was the recipient of awards for community service, student government leadership and residence life assistance. Picarelli served as a Volunteer Firefighter in the Roselle Park Fire Department and serves as a Special Olympics NJ Volunteer. Picarelli was an Associate Member of our organization prior to becoming a Police Officer and currently serves as a member of the Executive Board where he is a part of the Holiday Toy Drive for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of New Jersey.
