Classification Stuffing

Granny Cuzzo's "Out of the bird" Thanksgiving Stuffing
3 lbs sausage meat (out of casing)
1-1/2 lb chopped meat
1  cup Italian Flavored breadcrumbs
1/2 cup fresh parsley  -  chopped
3  cloves garlic  -  diced
1  large onion  -  diced
6  eggs
1  large apple  -  diced
1/2  cup walnuts
1/4 cup grated cheese
1/4 cup Pignoli
2  packages frozen chopped spinach  -  thawed & drained
olive oil
Turkey Gravy
Salt & Pepper
  • Instructions:
    • Cook sausage and chopped meat in olive oil in a large frying pan
    • When browned, mix in all other ingredients and put in a large (3 quart) baking dish
    • Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes,  covered with foil
    • Remove foil and bake uncovered for 15 additional minutes
    • Serve with Turkey Gravy
