Benefit Fundraiser July 25th
From a retired PAPD Officer
My son in law, daughter and grandson were forced to leave the home they bought after living in it for just six months. Seems like the home inspection company that they hired missed a few key items during their inspection process. Things like the home is toxic with mold, the foundation is crumbling and ready to collapse, the roof, walls and floor framing is structurally unsound and about a half dozen other items. Two engineers agree that the home as it sits is not economically feasible to repair, and both suggest that it be leveled. Needless to say, pretty much everything they owned is lost. That being said, the New Jersey State Police Foundation is sponsoring a event to help them get back on their feet. If anyone in the group (or knows people that will be) happens to be down the Jersey shore on July 25 and would like to help them out, please come. The event is at D'Jais in Belmar and it's from 6-10 PM. Thanks to all.
