Ballistic Vest Program
One of the many charitable ventures of the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey, in
conjunction with our New Jersey Police Officers Foundation fund raising campaign, is our Ballistic Vest give-a-way.   This is a presentation of a bullet proof vest to members of our organization who are not provided one by their department.  We average 10 vests per year.  All that is needed is for a member to fill out an application.  Then an application is selected randomly, about once a month. 

Over the last several years since the start of this program we are honored to have given out over 60 vests.  As you all know these protective vests can save an officer's life.
