The Port Authority PBA is extremely grateful to all those who have offered assistance to our membership in this time of need.  Our membership has suffered an unimaginable loss.  Thirty-seven members of our police force are either missing or dead in the aftermath of this despicable act of terrorism.  We have innumerable offers of financial help for the families of members of the Port Authority Police Department affected by the World Trade Center disaster.  The Port Authority Police PBA has set up a separate fund specifically for the purpose of aiding and assisting the survivors.
