Below is the promo as posted on the DVV Radio Web Site:

This Week’s Your World Uncensored Show, Sunday February 12th, 2012:

Ddv Radio is proud to announce our next guest Donna Roman Hernandez scheduled for Sunday February 12. Mrs. Hernandez is a former Police Captain who served 28 years in law enforcement. If that wasn’t amazing enough she is also a multi award winning independent film director, producer, composer and the owner of Blue Force FIlms in New Jersey. One of her films, The Ultimate Betrayal ,was a docu-memoir, it was based on her own 35 year secret of domestic violence in her family. The film is a nine time award winner and is in worldwide distribution. Her passion for story telling has resulted in a total of nine films. We respect Mrs. Hernandez very much, not only because she is a survivor, but because she used her heart wrenching true story to help others overcome what she had endured. Not an easy thing to do, to say the least. Most of the themes of her fiilms involve survival , courage, and overcoming adversity through awareness.. To top it all off most of her works have ties to law enforcement directly or indirectly. She is a very strong and inspirational person and we are truly looking forward to Sunday. DDV radio, THE HUMAN REFLECTION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT………

There is a new program for your Android or iPhone. It’s called Voxer, and it’s free. It turns your phone into a walkie talkie /Nextel type communications device.
Great alternative to texting, or making a phone call. Especially while driving.
Just go to the Marketplace or the App Store, download and install. Register it, and you’re good to go. It’ll find people in your contact list who are also on Voxer.

The Android interface Is a bit better than the iPhone.

Hints:
On your iPhone, go to the phone’s settings, and set a notification for the program. Without that, you won’t hear incoming calls.

On your Android, pick a loud, different ringtone.

We would like to thank John Stroka and his committee of Alan Sierchio, Ron Sepe and Bob Belfiore for putting a lot of effort into making last year’s Italian Night Under the Stars a huge success. The food was good and the atmosphere was very classy. Our friends from Allied Beverages, the Theater Square Grillalong with Jimenez Tobacco contributed to the event’s success through their generosity. Despite the economy we had over one hundred people attend mostly as a result of the hard work of John, Ron, Alan, and Bob.
